As of June 2007, books, videos and contraception information kits can no longer be taken out from the Resource Library due to budget cuts.
The Dorethea Palmer-Ferguson Resource Library houses books, pamphlets, and educational tools related to sexual and reproductive health, as well as contraception information kits.
The Resource Library is located in the Planned Parenthood Ottawa office (251 Bank Street, Suite 201), and may be accessed Monday-Friday between 8:30am and 4:30pm.
BOOKS AND EDUCATIONAL AIDS Clients are welcome to browse the library during office hours and may photocopy pages of interest (photocopies are 10¢/page). Books and educational aids may no longer be borrowed from the Resource Library.
PAMPHLETS AND BROCHURES **FREE** Free pamphlets and brochures on a wide variety of sexual and reproductive health topics are available. Please drop-in during office hours to browse our collection and take home pamphlets and brochures.
VIDEOS Videos can be viewed in the Planned Parenthood Ottawa office during office hours. Videos may no longer be borrowed from the Resource Library.
CONTRACEPTION INFORMATION KITS Contraception information kits can no longer be borrowed from the Resource Library. If you would like to book a one-on-one contraception information session please call 613-226-3234 or email ppottawa@ppottawa.ca. You may also drop by the Planned Parenthood Ottawa office during office hours Monday-Friday between 8:30am and 4:30pm.
